We babysat one of my friends little girls today. Charlotte did surprisingly well considering past encounters with babies where she balled the moment Kayu or I touched an infant. She came down the steps and pointed to her exersaucer that we hauled out and said "what's that?" Which by the way is her new favorite phrase. Charlotte was a huge help with baby K. She played peek-a-boo with her, she fetched diapers and wipes, and she even helped hold baby K's bottle during feeding time. Maybe there is hope for the possibility of a sibling in the future. She was very in touch with baby K's needs and when she became fussy, Charlotte noted that the baby was sleepy.
